Q: Why should I consider you as our wedding videographer?
A: Our videographer - Jimmy Ng, has extensive knowledge and experience in videography. In addition, he has been in the digital media field for over 10 years. But most importantly, Jimmy does the job personally, from start to finish. He will show up for the videotaping, along with a second camera person, if necessary. You will have our 100% undivided attention and dedication.
Q: What is different about your Slideshow?
A: This is basically the traditional "photo montage" that couples present to guests during the wedding day. Unlike most other "slideshow-style" presentations you see, we produce this video piece in an animation sequence. We will take your photos from childhood to dating and turn them into a fun and loving animation. Through our extensive experience in animation, we receive very positive reviews from this special feature.
Q: What equipment do you use?
A: We are proud to use the Canon GL2. These are state-of-the-art 3 chip digital camcorders which produce high quality image and sound and are being widely used in the industry. Wireless microphone is available to be worn by the groom in order to record better sound (usually used during exchanging vows).
Q: Do you have a back up camera?
A: Yes. We always carry an extra camera on the job.
Q: What type of shooting style do you use?
A: We shoot in a documentary style without being obtrusive. Our goal is to capture all memorable moments without clients noticing that we're there. Sometimes camera lights become too bright and obtrusive, so we try to shoot under natural lighting as much as possible.
Q: How long does it take before I get the finished product?
A: Normally, we'll do an edit of the video and present it to the client for approval and that will take within 4 weeks. If necessary, we will make changes for the final product and that will take another week (no additional cost). However, the turn around time may extend 2 - 3 weeks during busy seasons.
Q: Can I make special requests such as: what music to use for audio backgrounds,
what images to use for the video, or other ideas that I may have?
A: The wireless microphone is an option to be worn by the groom so that vows can be recorded in better audio quality. The built-in microphone from the video cameras will do just fine. However, it is very sensitive and will pick up more noise than you might like, such as the echo of voices (certain echoes, depending on the structure of the church, can cause unclearness of speech), cars passing by outside the church, babies crying, people coughing, and so on.

Q: Can I make special requests such as: what music to use for audio backgrounds,
what images to use for the video, or other ideas that I may have?
A: Absolutely. In fact, we encourage couples to give us suggestions so that the finished product is what YOU want. We love to have total freedom in making the video, but sometimes the video becomes more personal and meaningful if we have our clients contribute some of their ideas.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes. We normally work around areas of Los Angeles such as San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley, but we are willing to travel further depending on the distance. In somes cases, we would require the client to cover travel and hotel expense at distant locations. If the distance requires traveling by air, the client will also have to cover the videographer(s) travel expense.
